2010 - 2016
Breaking into the Sports Activity Vehicle category, the Countryman is the biggest MINI in the range, featuring a command driving position and greater ground clearance than other models. The interior retained the classic MINI aesthetics such as the central console, with plenty of room for the whole family.
In 2014, the Countryman received a minor facelift, with changes to the radiator grille alongside improved driving performance and fuel consumption. The interior boot space was increased with folding rear seats for extra space in the back increasing volume from 350 to 1170 litres, plenty for any journey.
2017 - 2020
The size of the Countryman was increased again, and the car was given a more rugged look to emphasise it's SUV credentials. The MINI ALL4 all-wheel drive system was upgraded to ensure impressive performance across all terrain, whilst the Plug-In Hybrid models introduced an alternative drive train to pave the way for more sustainable driving.
